Company ProfileSoupaBooks has a history of finding reasonably priced, interesting and rare, items for collectors. Nick Weatherhead, the founder of SoupaBooks worked in the book trade selling new, second-hand and antiquarian books from the market town of Aylesbury in Buckinghamshire, UK, He started bookselling on leaving school and continuing for 30 years until the business was sold. He left to fulfil a dream of living in a wild and romantic place and acted as chef and co-owner of a hotel in the Far North of Scotland for eight years, just a few miles from Cape Wrath in Sutherland. He won the prestigious Les Routiers' top award for two years running, hence the interest in cooking. Nick Weatherhead then moved closer to his family in the south of England and used his interest in computers to obtain a position as the network manager for the largest distributor of security equipment in Europe, where he worked for seven years. On being made redundant in October, 2001 a new start was made and in March 2002 Nick Weatherhead bought a bookshop in Bodmin, Cornwall which sells new, second hand and antiquarian books. Please visit for a great welcome.
